About

I’m Robbin, a writer and designer with a background in marketing, communications, development and nonprofit work.

I grew up moving between the United States and Europe because of my father’s career as a U.S. Army officer and his work with NATO. I lived in Germany and Italy as well as the United States. I studied anthropology at American University, liberal studies in Munich, and later graphic design. Over the years, my work has included writing, design, marketing, workforce development, fundraising and communications.

I’ve always had a wide range of interests outside of work, particularly history, folklore, art, old and unusual things, travel, food, books, antiques and vintage finds. I write, design, take photographs and make things, and I’m almost always researching or working on something.
